I saw this one on a TV show while at the allergists office waiting for one of my girls to get her allergy shots. Therefore, I cannot take credit for this one. I did cook this myself though and the family loved it. For starters, the chicken is marinated in a marinade that is salty and hot, but not too hot. Then, the chicken is fried in oil until done.
The “bun” in this sandwich is a lotus bun from the Asian food market. Usually they are in the frozen section. It is a bun that you steam for about 6 minutes.
A little Hoison sauce, some sliced cucumbers and a couple pieces of cilantro and you have a sandwich.
